Project Overview
This is a set of three announcement posters for lecture series on the Changing Face of Typographic Design. Taking the technique of offset printing, each time there is only one layer of color. Playing on the idea of adding and canceling information through the process of printing, I planned the poster with the theme of changing face in modern transportation. The series evolves from Gill Sans in the Early 20th Century for the British Railways, to Helvetica for the airports across the U.S. and eventually the widespread use of Frutiger in the 1970s.
