Project STATEMENT
The core concept is inspired by the moment of opening the gift. The excitement of receiving the gift is expressed through the action of tearing open the wrapping paper. Playing with the tattered gift wrapping paper, I deliberately create a scene of revealing the message just as if revealing the content of the gift. The colorful ribbon creates a visual cue to expressionist painting which relates to the idea of celebration of the years of art sale and ties the identity systems together.
